Happy Sunday!

How are you today my friends? I'm not feeling well. It was heavy rain yesterday evening and then suddenly I got flu! Gosh, not again...I hate it.

Good for those who have flu

Anyway, today is Sunday. I didn't go to church because my hubby is going back to his hometown in Papar. He got something urgent to do there and I have to stay at home to take care of our kids. Forgive me Jesus...hmmm...as usual, I'll do my Rosary later.

Well, hope you enjoy your Sunday.

AF8 : Getting better after 6th concert

Oh yeah, finally...In my opinion, I can say that I'm satisfied with the AF8 6th concert last night. I like the opening performance with their colourful appearances. I can see Adlin's satisfaction face too especially after Maulana and Adira's performances.

Opening performance

I think that Maulana is very talented in singing but I don't like his attitude which shown on Diari AF8 every Monday-Friday. He kind of too emotional person, playful sometimes or maybe because they are like living in a box in the academy. Which is without window and any entertainment apart from studying, learning, acting, singing and eating..ha..ha..

Anyway, I was quite suprised with Adira's performance last night. During their first concert, I don't like her at all but after a few weeks, she improved a lot especially in her singing. Thumbs up Adira! Finally, I'm proud of you and I'm sure the other Sabahan too.

Adira ('My All' by Mariah Carey)

Maulana ('Bila Rindu' by Ruffedge)

Honestly, I don't care much about who will be the winner this year but I really hope that Maulana and Adira will be in top 3.

Trip to Sabah Agriculture Park, Tenom

The main entrance

We just came back from Tenom. I'm so tired but since my kids are still sleeping, I think better for me to update my blog and upload picture as well. We went to Sabah Agriculture Park (SAP) or also known as Taman Pertanian Sabah in Tenom this morning.

Actually, this my third visit to SAP. My first visit was in 2003, when I'm 5 months old pregnant to my eldest son. My second visit was in 2007, together with both our kids. We never get bored because we like this place very much. I'm so glad to be back there and I can see the improvement of SAP.

Entrance fee for adults will be charged RM10 per pax while children below 12 years old is free of charge. You may explore the whole area either by walks or cycling but I prefer to wait for the mini train. The driver will bring you the top spots, such as Hybrid Orchid Centre, Model Garden, also Garden of Plants Evolution and Adaptation. Other facilities provided are toilets, cafe, souvenir shop and surau (For Muslim people to pray).

After the mini train ride, we went to Bougainvillea Court. It's just a few minutes walks from the main building. Just take your time, relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. I'm sure you'll have a good time there.

Hi friends, it's been a few days I didn't update my blog. I'm creating another blog for my kids. Feel free to read it too eventhough I haven't finish it yet. Oh well, sometimes I'm out of idea, don't know what else to type!
By the way, we went to Kota Kinabalu (KK) last Wednesday (14th April, 2010). It was a last minute decision as my hubby got something to do in KK but he still wanted us to go with him. Well, I'm so happy because I can drop by at the Warisan Square to buy my favourite Big Apple Donuts! Ha..ha..
We departed from Keningau at 1300hrs and arrived safely in KK at 1430hrs. After my hubby's work is done, he brought us to our favourite place, La Manila Cafe in Warisan Square for lunch. Gosh, we are so hungry! Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos..ha..ha..I'm having my favourite Carrot Juice and BBQ Chicken Rice while my hubby and kids are having Fried Rice and Carrot Juice too.
After lunch, I went to Big Apple Donuts outlet there. I bought three boxes of donuts for myself, my mother in law and my mom too. I was so happy because I met my Facebook's friend, Juliana as well. Actually, she's an ex Unduk Ngadau Lahad Datu in 2008. I was so suprised to meet her there and again, I forgot to take our picture together. She is very pretty and friendly.

My friend, Juliana & her hubby

We have to drive out from KK by 1630hrs because we don't want to be caught in a heavy traffic jam. Eventhough we are in KK for only two hours, but I'm having a good time with my family. Well, the next day is a school day, so we can't stay overnight in KK. We need to go back to Keningau on the same day.
On the way back to Keningau, we drop by at my hubby's hometown in Papar. My mother in law isn't around. So, I just put the donuts in the fridge. I'm sure she'll be happy to know about it. We don't want to be caught in a heavy fog too. Therefore, after taking some mangoes, we went home as soon as possible. We arrived safely in Keningau at 1900hrs. Thank you Lord for blessing our journey, Amen.

Weekend Gathering

How's your Easter? Mine was great! Last night we have our family gathering at my parents' house. We enjoyed our steamboat very much. Unfortunately, I was busy chatting and eating with my other siblings and forgot to take photos..ha..ha..but they remind me earlier not to take their photos because they know that I'll upload it either in my blog or my Facebook! Actually they are too tired after a long journey that morning, so they are not in the mood of taking photo. Oh well, I managed to snap one photo before the eating session.

Playing cards before the eating session

By the way, on Saturday morning, we went out to Taman Bandukan Recreational Club (TBRC), which is located just nearby the Sungai Bunsit, Keningau. We just have a walk as there are too many people on that day.

Nice place for relaxing!

Waiting for their drinks

As for today, we bring our kids to their favourite Lovely Saloon. After that, we went to my parents' house again for lunch. We supposed to go fishing with my brother in law, but seems it was heavy rain, we canceled our plan. I prefer to stay at home, watching tv and of course updating my blog and Facebook.

My kids and their new hairstyle!

Well, mo more heavy foods for tonight. Tomorrow is another busy day, school session! Hope you are having a great weekend too.

Trip to Lahad Datu

I went to Lahad Datu (LDU) with my family on the last 26th-28th March, 2010. Eventhough it's only for 3D/2N stay, but I'm very happy to go back to my hometown.

On the first day, we departed from Keningau at 0800hrs. We are using the short cut road through Tambunan-Ranau, but it still a long journey to LDU. We only arrived there by 1700hrs. I really miss our house there, especially my dad! He's so skinny! I guess that I'm heavier than him..ha..ha..(I love you dad!)

Suddenly my old neighbours came and guess what? They said that I'm getting chubby! Gosh, hu..hu..what can I say? They didn't see me for more than 10 years!! Oh well, my weight is 58kg now, so another 8 kgs to be reduced...LOL

Later that night, we went to one of my favourite restaurant in LDU, Dovist. Well, I love Chinese foods. I'm eager to eat the Siput Tarik with Sambal Belacan! It's so yummy!

My kids' fav, Sweet & Sour Prawn

After our dinner, we went to Bandar Sri Perdana, just about 5 minutes drive from our house in Kg Muhibbah. I was so proud of LDU! Lots of good changes, but...I hate the traffic jam! He..he..I can't stand it!

On the second day, I went to Fajar Centre to meet my ex colleagues at Borneo Nature Tours office. I really miss them! We planned to go out together that night. Then, I went to my another favourite Chinese Restaurant in town area. I used to call it 'Kedai RM5' because all the menu will be charged RM5 per bowl/plate. You should try their Iced Milk Tea too. Gosh, so yummy!

It was heavy rain that afternoon till 1800hrs, so we just stay at home. I'm looking for my old pictures. Wish to share it with all my Facebook's friends soon. Right now, I'm so lazy to scan all the photos..hmmm..

About 1930hrs, my friend, Anita came to fetch me to a new restaurant in Bandar Sri Perdana. It was another branch of Dovist restaurant but this one is more to western foods. I did enjoy myself that night, having a long chat with all my ex colleagues till almost midnight! Here are some of the photos. By the way, once again, all the foods are yummy!!

On our last day in LDU...sob...sob...I was so sad to say goodbye to my dad. Wish he will go back to Keningau as soon as possible. I was worried for him to stay alone there but he'll be back as soon as his 'kebun' is okay. Well, it's very hard to find an honest worker to look after his kebun.

Sayonara LDU...gonna miss you!

Happy April Fool's Day!

Ha..ha..Have you been fooled by someone? I'm not really in the mood of if as this week is a Holy Week and today is also a Holy Thursday for all Christian (RC). So, I just wish my friends and remind them about it.
