Gong Xi Fa Cai!

Advance wish for Chinese New Year 2011 to all my friends and relatives. (Hey, I'm part of Chinese too, from my mom's side).

Quick Updates!

Hi friends, I'm quite busy lately with the house chores and of course, preparing my kids' meals, uniforms to school. Luckily, they go to school by bus this year, so I still have time to update my Facebook and sometimes, my blog..ha..ha..

As I mentioned before, I am butterfly lover and I love quotes with butterfly motif. So, it's a must for me to google the 'Butterfly Quotes' every morning.

Anyway, two more days before Chinese New Year holidays, means 9 days school holidays too! I wish to visit some of the historical places in Sabah. Wanna bring my kids to another attraction place in Sabah, Aquarium and Marine Museum. Well, just waiting for the 'green light' from my hubby.

R.I.P

Today, I lost another friend cum my ex colleague. He's a very hardworking person with a good attitude. He's a well known tourist guide, especially among our Japanese tourists. We gonna miss you, Nadil.

May his soul rest in peace.

In loving memory of Isnadil Mohd (Passed away 22/1/2011)

I Love Kenny Rogers Roasters!

KRR @ 1Borneo Hypermall

Oh yes, Kenny Rogers Roasters (KRR) is a very good place to eat as it provided healthy foods. eventhough this was my first experience to have my dinner there, but I automatically love the menus and the ambiance. Poor me, because the outlet have been opened in Sabah a few years already, but only in 2010 I managed to go there...ha...ha...As you know, my kids prefer to go to KFC or MCD!

Here are my photos, enjoying my spaghetti alone while waiting for my hubby and kids.

01.01.2011

I celebrated New Year's eve with my in laws families in Papar. Just a simple bbq family gathering but we are so excited especially during the countdown. I went to sleep at nearly 2.00 am.

The next morning, I woke up with my ugly panda eyes! Oh well, I need to get ready as I promise to meet my BFF Debbie on the 1st day of January, 2011. We have our breakfast together and of course some chats about our marriage life.

With my BFF, Debbie Deborah

We went back to Keningau later that afternoon. Wishing, hoping and praying for a better life in 2011. Have a blessed new year!

Sayonara 2010, welcome 2011!

Have a blessed New Year of 2011....

Christmas 2010

Christmas 2010 at 1Borneo Hypermall

Every year as usual, we will bring our kids to Kota Kinabalu (KK) to see the Christmas decorations in 1Borneo Hypermall (1B). We went to KK last 21st Dec-23rd Dec, 2010. It supposed to be a one night stay but seems our youngest son, Randy got fever on the second day, we have to extend another night. He needs a good rest before traveling back to Keningau.

I'm so excited and happy to meet my friends in KK. It was the best moment to be with them apart from my hubby and lovely kids. For this trip, we stayed at Grand Borneo Hotel, 1B. I like this hotel because it's nearby the 24hrs shop, Orange and also Permai Policlinic, but the main reason is because it's just next to my favorite shopping mall, 1B! He..he..macam berjalan ke kedai runcit je!

Here are some great photos during our Christmas trip to 1B.

Wish I can visit KK more next year, so I can spend more time with my friends.

Phewww...it's been a month since I updated my blog. I'm just so lazy, don't have any idea what to type..he..he..oh well, I have to because at least I have something to read one day when I'm old enough and can't do anything!

Well, we went to Labuan on the 23rd Nov till 25th Nov, 2010 (3D/2N). It was the first trip for me and my kids and second trip for my hubby. He went there before in 2000, during their school's choir competition.

Anyway, the journey took about 4 hours from Keningau-Menumbok. To me, it's quite bored because there's nothing to see along the road from Beaufort-Menumbok. We are so tired and when we arrived at Menumbok, we tried to change our ferry ticket to earlier schedule, that is 10.00 am instead of 12.00 noon. Unfortunately, it was fully booked and we have to wait for 2 hours at the ferry terminal. While waiting, we went to the Menumbok's monument to take some photos. It was amazing with lots of marine life huge replica such as crab, turtle, fish, etc.

Finally, we are on the ferry, but it was the small one. So, we need to park our car in the middle of the ferry and we went upstair to have some rest. Gosh, the weather is too hot but luckily none of us have seasick!

We arrived in Labuan safely around 2.00 pm and straight away looking for a hotel. My friend recommend me a few hotels but we decided to stay in a budget hotel, Mariner Hotel. It's not bad and quite comfortable for us.

We are very tired to have lunch, so we just ate some snacks and went to sleep. We woke up around 7.00 pm. Later we went out for dinner. Well, I recommend you to go to this restaurant when you are in Labuan. We have our dinner at the same restaurant for both nights. The foods are delicious with lots of varieties from local to western.

On the second day, after breakfast, we went to visit few interesting places in Labuan. I'm so happy to see my kids really enjoyed this trip. They don't even complain about their tiredness. Our last visit is to War Memorial then we went for lunch and back to the hotel. Sampai hotel, semua kepenatan dan terus tertidur!

We woke up around 6.00pm, dinner at the same restaurant and then chocolate shopping! He..he..I think the imported chocolate is more yummy and my favourite is Dairy Milk Marble.

After breakfast on our last day, we just walked on foot to the nearby shop. Just to 'cuci-cuci mata' until our check out time. We went to the ferry terminal at 13.00 pm. We are so lucky this time because it was a huge ferry and we can sit inside, with air conditioned room and there's even a tv for karaoke/movie.

Sayonara Labuan! Sure we will come again and thanks to my hubby for the nice trip. (For more pictures, you can add me at Facebook and view it on my Trip to Labuan Island Album).

Advance Christmas Gift

Two days before our trip to Labuan Island, my hubby gave me a suprised. He bought a new camera for me, Sony Cyber-shot with a Pink Rose color. It was an advance Christmas gift. Gosh, I love it! Thanks dear...

By the way, I'm still in lazy mood...ha...ha...I'll update my blog later about my trip to Labuan Island with my family. For more pictures, you may view it in my Facebook.

Hoorayyyyy!

Oh yeah, another long school holidays! Starting 20th November, 2010 till 2nd January, 2011. Gosh, as I always said, time past so quickly! We've been in Keningau for almost 3 years already. Know what? Pizza Hut outlet will be opened here soon...he..he..at least I can make order from my house rather than going to KK (2 hours journey from Keningau!).

By the way, we will be going to Labuan Island on this coming 23rd November. Of course I am so excited because this is going to be my first experience traveling from Menumbok to Labuan by ferry! Yayy...hope there won't be any sea sickness for the rest of us.

Don't worry, I'll tell you more about it once I come back from there. Enjoy your holidays!
